Our colleagues from SCHLÜSSLER Feuerungsbau presented themselves on September 3^rd, 2023 as sponsor of the triathlon " Hölle von Q", which takes place annually in the region, thus showing their attachment to Thale and the entire region.

Mr. Sven Hase (Branch Manager Thale) and Jacob Schulz (Senior Recruiter) were on site, cheered on all participants and were available for questions.

SCHLÜSSLER Feuerungsbau GmbH has acquired the business activities of Maaß-Bau GmbH, based in Thale, Saxony-Anhalt, effective September 1, 2023. With this purchase, SCHLÜSSLER Feuerungsbau is setting an important course for the further expansion of its industrial services in all areas of refractory construction.

Maaß-Bau, which operates internationally, specializes in industrial furnace systems, and its range of services includes new construction as well as repairs and customer-specific adaptations. The fully acquired business activities ideally complement and expand the portfolio of SCHLÜSSLER Feuerungsbau in the realization, repair and maintenance of thermal industrial plants. Jürgen Mathwig, Managing Director of SCHLÜSSLER Feuerungsbau: "In addition to a long-standing customer base, Maaß-Bau brings experienced specialists who further complement our experience and capabilities. At the same time, we are gaining regional presence through the transaction. All in all, this results in an increase in performance strength, which we will use for an even broader range of services."

Maaß-Bau was founded a good 23 years ago and has been successfully managed as a family business ever since. The company founder and current managing partner Fred Maaß will actively accompany the transition to SCHLÜSSLER Feuerungsbau as well as the further integration. Fred Maaß: "We have been looking for a suitable buyer for a long time who will continue our values and our commitment and expand our business activities. As part of the REMONDIS Maintenance & Services Group, which is also family-run, SCHLÜSSLER Feuerungsbau is the perfect partner for us. I am delighted to have handed over our traditional activities to SCHLÜSSLER Feuerungsbau and thus to be able to take them forward together."

The Maaß-Bau site in Thale will continue to operate as a SCHLÜSSLER Feuerungsbau branch and will offer additional services in addition to the existing ones in the future. Frank Zocher, Managing Director of SCHLÜSSLER Feuerungsbau: "The Thale location fits perfectly into our existing network of branches. Through targeted expansion, we will create the conditions here for service extensions that will directly benefit our existing and new customers. We see great potential in the region of the northeastern Harz foreland and the Bode valley."
